Events

Upcoming events:

Training – Online and in-person training delivered to members to keep them up to speed with current practices, policies, and rule enforcement. 

Meetings – All active officials currently registered with FLAO or planning to work with us are expected to join these meetings.

• Annual fall meeting – Held before the start of the fall ball season. 
• Annual spring meeting – Held before the start of the FHSAA varsity season. Date is TBD (Usually near end of January or beginning of February).

Tournaments – All levels with teams from around the state and beyond. These games are held at large, multi-field venues like NERP (Northeast Regional Park in Davenport), The Omni Resort (a Disney property in Champions Gate), and Austin Tindell Park (in Lake Nona). These events often reach numbers of over 100 teams, playing more than 400 games in 2 days, at 2 or 3 venues, using 10-20 fields simultaneously. These are impressive events if you have never seen one.

Fall ball – Local youth and high school league play. Weekly games held at smaller, local field venues around the Orlando area.

Spring season – FHSAA 2023 season. All Florida varsity games are played using NFHS rules.
